1970s Bungalow

GRENS recently collaborated on renovating a 1970s bungalow, transforming it into a more modern and energy-efficient home. The project included upgrades to enhance the space’s appearance and functionality, ensuring it meets the needs of today’s homeowners.

A key part of the renovation was replacing the old bay window with a ConceptWall 50 HI system. This update allowed more natural light to enter the home while creating a clean, modern look. The new window system also boosts insulation, improving the home’s energy efficiency.

At the back of the house, MasterPatio lift-and-slide doors were installed to provide better access to the outdoor space. These large doors simplify the transition between indoor and outdoor areas while increasing the amount of light entering the home. Their design adds a contemporary touch and helps keep the home well-insulated.

GRENS installed MasterLine 8 HI+ windows in the bedrooms. These windows enhance the home’s thermal performance, helping to maintain a comfortable temperature year-round. They are also designed to minimize outside noise, making the bedrooms quieter and more comfortable.

This project exemplifies how GRENS combines practical upgrades with modern design. The result is a home that looks better, functions better, and is more energy-efficient.
